About the Role
Working with structural steel is physically demanding. Heavy lifting of materials and tools is inevitable, as well as working in aerial or enclosed spaces often. You will be responsible for keeping company tools in good working order and accounted for when the job is complete.
Expect to work outdoors in all types of weather. Night and weekend work is sometimes necessary depending on the job.
Requirements
Knowledge of arithmetic, basic geometry, and their applications to construction
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Must become knowledgeable and have the ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Must be detail-oriented and have good verbal skills and a neat/clean appearance
About the Company
• Assist in project efficiency by means of performing basic tasks that require moderate training such as carrying materials and tools, hand tools and supplies to welders when they request them, and cleans work areas.
